Matthew Hare

Chief Executive and Founder

Matthew has a proven track record in the fibre infrastructure sector and driving concepts from vision to delivery to create substantial value for all stakeholders.  He founded Full Fibre rural broadband provider Gigaclear in 2010, which was acquired by Infracapital in 2018 for £270 million. He founded Zzoomm in December 2018 and was awarded an OBE for services to Broadband provision in the UK.

Julian Smith

Chief Financial Officer

Julian has over 20 years of experience as the CFO on the boards of numerous public, private and PE-backed companies. He has managed two IPOs and numerous M&A transactions as well as raising debt and/or equity of some £500m for these companies. He has also been involved in numerous early-stage businesses. Julian is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales.

Chris Collinson

Chief Commercial Officer

Chris has extensive experience in leading UK media and technology organisations.  Most recently he was Executive Director of Sales and Marketing at Virgin Media. Prior to that he was Sales and Marketing Director at Sky UK and SVP for Sky Germany where he launched its OTT service. Chris was also part of TalkTalk’s leadership team which launched free broadband to the market in 2006.

Rich Shaw

Chief Technology Officer

Rich is a technical leader with experience of building and operating an ISP gained through his seven years at Zen Internet. He led the teams that were responsible for both networks and infrastructure, covering the full range of technical functions required to operate a modern ISP at scale; with operational effectiveness, capability and quality that delivers brilliant performance to customers.
